Wikireadia has been rebuilt and relaunched as of 19/5/2011. We have made a lot of updates that we hope you will like.

Usernames and passwords

Your Wikireadia username and password should be exactly the same, if there is a problem please try recreating your account or contact us if you are having trouble accessing your account.

Easier to find articles

We have introduced a category tag cloud and dynamic listings to showcase Wikireadia articles, promoting good practice.

Easier to create an article

Select, 'Start/Edit an article' from the sidebar and you can create an article easily using a helpful template and following the instructions.

Easier to edit an article

We have installed a text editor that will allow you to add and edit content without having to worry about using wikimarkup code.  Select "Write or edit using our plain text editor" when you are contributing.

Secure pages you have written

Wikireadia now gives you the facility to secure pages that you are the author of, protecting them from other users' changes.  Our administrators will still be able to edit and remove inappropriate posts but your content will be secure from ordinary users.  Simply complete your article and select 'Author protect' from the drop down menu, click and save to lock your work.

Blogging about your literacy practice on Wikireadia

We are introducing a new feature where users can use their user page to share a personal journal of their professional practice.  These blogs are open to all users to help us share the best of our work.

If you need any help, please contact the Wikireadia Manager.
