Homeless trained to teach computer skills
Young homeless people will get the chance to learn and pass on computer skills to thousands more disadvantaged members of society in a scheme launched in March 2001 by the Foyer Federation.
More than 500 rough sleepers will be trained to teach others seeking jobs, training or study, about the Internet, email and other IT skills. Training will be offered in 49 Uplink centres situated in deprived areas.
